Full Mouth Reconstruction

reconstructive patient #3

This patient presented to the office complaining of a Temporomandibular Joint problem. After a complete examination and Joint Vibration Analysis (JVA) this patient was diagnosed with an anterior disc displacement of her temporomandibular joint. Due to the severity of her issue she underwent TMJ surgery followed up by splint therapy. After being pain free and comfortable eating, she desired a better appearance and more comfortable bite relationship. She underwent full mouth reconstruction to cosmetically enhance her smile, as well as rebuild her bite relationship. To ensure that her bite was absolutely perfect, it was finished with T-scan occlusal equilibration.

She was told by her original dentist that there was no treatment for TMJ and she would be "wasting her money". She has been stable and pain free for several years now with a beautiful smile.
